Real Madrid make clear their stand over Man Utd departure Pogba

Real Madrid insist there's been no contact with released Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba.

Los Blancos' primary target is Monaco's Aurelien Tchouameni, but even if they don't manage to acquire his services, the club will not move for his compatriot.

Real Madrid directors have denied to MARCA that Los Blancos have made contact with either the player or someone from his entourage.

Pogba has been linked with a move to Real Madrid every summer for the last five years. Former coach Zinedine Zidane asked the club to sign the French midfielder in the past, but Los Blancos are now in search of a different kind of player for the middle third.

Meanwhile, Pogba is negotiating his potential return to Juventus, whom he departed to make his Manchester United comeback in 2016
