Real Madrid fullback Fabio Coentrao has admitted to a Portuguese court he paid £3,500 to cheat his driving theory exam.
The Portugal international confessed in a Braga court that he had someone making hand signals during a video exam.
O Jogo reports the person assisted him by pointing to the right answer in the background.
As punishment the court ordered the Los Blancos defender to pay £2,600 to a charity food bank in Braga.
The 29-year-old said he was desperate to get his hands on a license when he was on the verge of joining Real Madrid.
Coentrao feared he would not be able to pass his test in Spain due to the language barrier.
