Real Madrid are sweating on a response from UEFA over their bid to register both Lassana Diarra and Klaas-Jan Huntelaar for the Champions League.

UEFA laws state Real can only name one of the two new signings in their official squad, but the Spanish giants tabled an appeal on Friday.

UEFA's bigwigs only began studying Real's submission yesterday and are yet to make a ruling.
