Real Madrid fans rallied for Fede Valverde during their Champions League win against Chelsea.

Real won the quarterfinal first-leg 2-0, with Valverde impressive on the night amid a police complaint after he allegedly struck Villarreal midfielder Alex Baena on Saturday.

It's claimed Valverde thumped Baena in the Santiago Bernabeu carpark after previous taunts about his unborn child - claims that Baena has denied.

Last night, Real fans came together to support their midfielder in the first-half against the Blues.

Real fans began applauding in the 15th minute to mark the number Valverde wears on his shirt in a show of support for their player.
