Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo is gutted over his latest injury setback. Ronaldo faces a month on the sidelines after aggravating an ankle injury in action for Portugal against Hungary on Saturday.
"I'm sad because I was in a good form and the re-injury is something that leaves me upset," Ronaldo told AS. "After the defeat against Sevilla, I wanted to help my teammates at Real Madrid to win the next matches.
"I felt good but was not 100 per cent, I had a little trouble. But I wanted to help my country reach the World Cup.
"The injury is different from the one I had an operation for. It has nothing to do with that. I'm calm because I know that with the desire I have to bounce back and the good work of physiotherapists in Madrid, everything will go well."
