Real Madrid are pushing Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy to drop his asking price for Luka Modric. AS says Levy is insisting on £40 million, while Real have offered £32 million and won't go higher than £35 million.
But Levy so far won't be budged.
However, Real chiefs are convinced that as the August 31 deadline draws closer, the pressure on Levy will force him to soften his stand.
