Real Madrid are ready to compete with Barcelona for Ajax fullback Gregory van der Wiel.
Van der Wiel's minders have already welcomed the interest of Barca in the young Holland international.
And it's emerged that Real coach Jose Mourinho is also keen on Van der Wiel as an alternative to No1 fullback target Douglas Maicon, the Inter Milan defender.
