Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane explained substituting Cristian Ronaldo during victory over Deportivo La Coruna.

Ronaldo struck twice in the win.

“Bringing Cristiano Ronaldo off was just because he had taken a heavy blow to his foot," said Zidane.

"As for (Gareth) Bale, he started playing on the right and Cristiano Ronaldo was on the left. That's the idea and it's where he feels most comfortable, but they're free to move around the pitch and change positions".
