Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho says he has an excellent relationship with president Florentino Perez.

Perez revealed Mourinho has struggled to understand the reaction of fans at times earlier this week.

He said: "A coach shouldn't comment on what the President says. Communication between myself and the President is wonderful. It couldn't be any better. I have a fantastic personal and professional relationship with him. Despite everything, I think that a coach may not comment on what the President says."
