Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti says Girona are worthy LaLiga leaders.

The two teams meet on Saturday.

Ancelotti said: "You have to give credit to the table.

"Girona has done better than everyone so far. Better than us, than Barcelona, than Atlético de Madrid... We have to respect that. They play very well but it won't happen like last year We are alert.

"They do not play in Europe and that is an advantage for them because they have time to prepare well for all the games and to recover the players."

He added on Girona winger Savio: "He is doing very well, he has a lot of quality and I congratulate him. We have resources, experience and quality to stop any player."
