Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti has dismissed doubts about veteran striker Karim Benzema.
It was put to Ancelotti that a new centre-forward is required this summer.
But Ancelotti said: "This is not the time to talk about the next season. We met with the club, but for now we are only evaluating what happened on Wednesday... and before. In these past two seasons.
"We are already talking about the future, but it is not yet the time to answer this. The Manchester game was very bad and we are hurt. Until then, it was a very good season. And the previous one, unforgettable.
"There is no point in doubting Benzema. He had a bad game, but not only him. And he is still a legend of this club. On Wednesday the team was not successful, not only Karim."
