Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti says Fede Valverde will face Chelsea in tomorrow's Champions League quarterfinal first-leg.
The Real midfielder is under police investigation after allegedly punching Baena in the Santiago Bernabeu carpark after defeat on Saturday. It's been claimed Valverde attacked Baena over his unborn child - which the Villarreal man denies.
Ancelotti said: "He is well and motivated. We know him very well. He has a special and extraordinary human quality. I don't want to comment on what has happened, but tomorrow he will give everything as always.
"We are focused on playing a complete game and defending well. You have to do better than against Villarreal and attack the same as against Barcelona."
On Chelsea, he added: "We suffered a lot last year. We had a very bad time.
"You have to respect this club. They have very good players. If the moment is not so good, they have such a great motivation that they can make the best of it."
