Real Madrid coach Ancelotti happy with win at Getafe

Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti was left pleased with their 2-0 win at Getafe.

Joselu struck twice for Thursday night's triumph.

Ancelotti said: "The referee gave me a card and didn't give a penalty. I don't want to talk about that, I want to talk about the game because we were great. We're very happy.

"Getafe put in a lot of crosses. In the first half Tchouameni helped us with the aerial balls. In the second half, Camavinga also did his job and we changed the system a bit to control the flanks. We played deeper and taking the lead in the game allowed us to play more in transition.

"If we win the next two games we would have six more points in the table and it would be good. But the season is long. Today the team was on fire from the first minute to the last. Now we have to prepare for the derby.

"We are in good spirits and the team is motivated. We fought and battled and we handled the game very well, which wasn't easy. Getafe play football with a lot of challenges and aerial balls. We had a lot of presence on the pitch because we have very strong players."
