Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti was delighted with their win at Osasuna.

Real won 4-2, with Vinicius Jr scoring twice.

Ancelotti said: "I'm very proud of all these victories, I'm very happy to win here and to have played so well. These are three very important points to move us ahead in the table. We go into the international break better than ever.

"He's (Vini Jr) a decisive player because of what he's contributing at the moment. He's scored two goals today and he scored in the previous ones too. He could have scored more, he was effective in every play he made. He has to control the pressure he's under because of the atmosphere a little bit more.

"I congratulated Vini Jr. because he played an extraordinary game. He read every play very well and he moved very well without the ball. This is where he has improved the most. With the ball he is always effective and without the ball at the moment he's been spectacular. He's very quick and moves with good timing."

On fellow goalscorer Brahim Diaz, the coach added: "He's an attacking player but he can cover all positions very well. Today he played on the centre-left and combined well with Vini. The strength of this striker is that he has a lot of mobility. It's difficult for the opposition to pick up on what we're doing because it changes things a lot if Rodrygo plays on the right. It gives us a lot of options up front."
