Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti praised Rodrygo Goes after their 1-1 draw at Sevilla.

Dani Carvajal struck Real's equaliser after Sevilla went ahead through a David Alaba own goal.

Ancelotti said of Rodrygo: "He was one of the best, if not the best of the team. He had two or three clear chances, he shot more than anyone else and he tried everything. He didn't score, but the important thing is that he continues to play well."

On Vini Jr, he added: "He tried many times and he has come up against an opponent, Navas, who has defended very well. He came back from international duty on Thursday and that's why I changed him.

"He was involved in a fight in which there were 15 players and the referee did well to separate the two teams."
