Arsenal attacker Alexis Sanchez remains on the radar of Real Madrid president Florentino Perez.
While there's been some push back from inside the locker room, mainly due to Alexis' Barcelona past, Perez has not dropped his interest in the Chile international.
However, Diario Gol says the president would prefer to wait to sign Alexis on a Bosman next summer, rather than spend any money in January to bring him to Madrid.
Real coach Zinedine Zidane wants an immediate striker signing, but Perez is reluctant to spend with Alexis running down his contract.
No final decision has been made, but Alexis' agents have visited the Bernabeu offices to make it clear to Perez that he'd welcome a return to Spain in 2018.
