Real Madrid chief Emilio Butragueno has played down the prospect of buying in January.

With Real's midfield hit by injury, it's expected they will act to find cover next month.

"Transfers? We have enough resources," said Butragueno last night after victory in the Champions League.

"Now, we focus on the League and the World Club Cup, which we are keen to conquer."
