Real Madrid's Castilla squad were rocked by Nacho's snub on the weekend.

The young defender was called into the squad for the game against Celta Vigo and was expected to start with the injuries to fellow fullbacks Marcelo, Fabio Coentrao and Alvaro Arbeloa.

But Real coach Jose Mourinho went with Michael Essien on the left of the defence, leaving Nacho on the bench.

The decision has hit the morale of the Castilla players and further strengthened the claims of critics that the coach has no interest in bringing through young players at Real.
