Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos hailed the support after victory over Real Betis.

Ramos says the fans have been key as they've battled through a form slump.

"When you're going through a tough patch you need the fans' support. When everyone inside this stadium gets behind us, there are very few teams who can handle it, it's pretty much like hell and we know just how much faith our supporters have in us. Between the fans and the players we must work together to be an unbeatable team. Between all of us we're going to make sure that this drives us on for us to enjoy another great year.

"We've not won the league for a long time and we've put a lot of our effort, affection and enthusiasm into it. The enthusiasm at the Bernabéu and the history of this badge deserve to see Real Madrid crowned league champions again. We're in a good position and it's in our hands. We've played a game less, we're top of the league again and the biggest games to come are here at the Bernabéu."
