Real Madrid captain Raul is ready to join Schalke. Bild says Raul has already agreed personal terms with the ambitious Bundesliga club.
The 33 year-old striker has settled on a two-year deal with Schalke worth €5 million-a-season.
The deal was first proposed three weeks ago at a local Madrid restaurant, where Raul's agent, Gines Carvajal, met with Schalke coach Felix Magath and other club officials.
Raul and former Real teammate Christophe Metzelder, now with Schalke, were also in attendance.
