Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos has urged president Florentino Perez to splash out on a new defensive signing.
And Ramos has recommended Real Sociedad fullback Alvaro Odriozola as a January addition.
Diario Sport says Ramos is a big fan of the youngster and believes the €40m La Real are demanding to sell is a realistic valuation.
Ramos was impressed by Odriozola when Real met Real Sociedad, however his mind was up after spending the week with the defender as part of the Spain squad.
The skipper returned to Madrid singing Odriozola's praises and has told Perez to bring him to the club in January.
