Real Madrid captain Iker Casillas insists he has a good relationship with coach Jose Mourinho. Mourinho warned Casillas his place was no longer guaranteed amid reports he had attempted to set up peace talks with Barcelona players after their Super Copa brawl.
"I have a good relationship with him and whenever I have been asked, I have publicly defended him," insisted Casillas.
"There is no problem with him, on some things I disagree with him, football or personal, but always from a good relationship point of view. Disagreements are cheerful and fun."
Asked if he felt his axing for the Bernabeu Trophy was a punishment, Casillas insisted: "Not at all. It's not the first Trofeo Bernabeu I have not played or the last game that I will not play.
"I agree with Mourinho that (Antonio) Adan is qualified to be the goalkeeper of Real Madrid and I hope that one day he is. He's a great guy and also has tremendous qualities."
