Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho has ruled out the arrival of Marco Branca from Inter Milan.

Football chief Branca was being linked with a move to Spain after reportedly testing the patience of Nerazzurri chief Massimo Moratti in recent months.

"I know him very well and we're friends," insisted Mourinho.

"We worked very well together at Inter and I like his way of doing things. He is a great professional, but he will not move here.

"We are so happy at Real Madrid. Here we have people who have professional attributes similar to his. Not identical, but similar - people of great ability.

"We are super satisfied with what we have right now."
