Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti wants to re-sign Denis Cheryshev from Villarreal.
AS says the Russian's form with Villarreal this season has convinced Ancelotti to bring him back to Real this summer.
Cheryshev joined Real as an 11 year-old and only left for Villarreal last year.
Under coach Marcelino, Cheryshev has become a first-choice for Villarreal, scoring five goals this season.
At 24 years old, has a contract with Real Madrid until June 30, 2017, after the club renewed in 2013.
