Real Madrid boss Ancelotti: No pressure on Ronaldo for return

Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti says there's no pressure on Cristiano Ronaldo to return to action in preseason.

Ronaldo has not played in either of Madrid's pre-season friendly games against Inter Milan and Roma in the USA, as a result of the knee injury he picked up towards the end of last season.

Ancelotti said: "We have to be careful. He is taking things very carefully, but the problem is forgotten."

The Italian coach however could not confirm whether Ronaldo would be able to face former club Manchester United next Saturday in Michigan.

"He is training well by himself and today he did a double training session. We are going to see over the next few days whether he can play against Manchester United."
