Real Madrid attacker Vinicius Junior has confirmed he's received a Spanish passport.
Vinicius received his Spanish citizenship on Monday.
"The club and the people of Madrid have always given me a lot," he said.
"I arrived when I was 18. Now I'm 22 and I know that people love me a lot.
"I love being in Madrid and my family is very clear about that. I want to be here for a long time."
Real Madrid currently have two non-EU nationals, the Brazilians Rodrygo Goes and Eder Militao, who are also awaiting the last formalities to obtain dual nationality.
Vinicius' dual nationality is great news for Madrid, as it frees up an extra non-EU place ahead of the next transfer window, which opens after the World Cup in Qatar.
