Real Madrid attacker Vinicius Jr has paid tribute to president Florentino Perez.

Vinicius praised Florentino after signing a new deal to 2027.

He said, "He's believed in me since I left Brazil. He's always given me the strength I need.

"So many special players have been here and for him to have so much affection for me is special in a way that I never imagined. He always talks to me, sends me messages and asks me about my family and my life. He really cares about me. That's very important.

"We're all used to winning. I understood how things work very quickly. We won today, but we have to think about winning the next game. That's how it goes every day and every year. We won the Champions League and we want to win it again. We're with players who have won so much and they show us that this will go down in history."
