Real Madrid have made an enquiry after Benfica defender Ruben Dias.

During negotiations over the sale of striker Raul de Tomas, Real asked about the situation of Dias.

De Tomas is set to move to Benfica for €20m and Real are pushing Benfica to agree to a first refusal option for Dias.

The arrivals of Eder Militao and Ferland Mendy mean defence is no longer a priority for Real this summer.

However, Real would still like to have a say on the long-term future of Dias.
