Real Madrid ace Cristiano Ronaldo has again stated his plans to play into his 40s.

The Portugal captain was asked about retirement plans yesterday when speaking on El Chiringuito de Jugones.

"I said I'm going to retire at 41. I'm 23 years old biologically," laughed Ronaldo.

"The future is Saturday's game, you have to play, win and enter the history, it's the most important thing. The present is now."

On his relationship with his teammates, Ronaldo also stated: "I have never said that I did not have affection, I feel that the players have a great affection for me, there are things that you can control and not others. Teammates because they know what I am, they give me affection at all times and there are things that you cannot control, in a general way I am very affectionate for Madrid."

And on his relationship with president Florentino Perez, Ronaldo added: "Florentino gives me and others affection, I can also be more flexible and affectionate, I do not have to be the president's best friend, he treats me well."
