Real Betis vice-president Lorenzo Serra Ferrer admits they're eager to bring Manchester City attacker Nolito back to Spain.
Betis are said to be in talks with the former Celta Vigo striker about leaving City just 12 months into his Premier League stay.
"Yes, I would like Nolito to join the club, but we have not been in touch with him," Ferrer told Canal Sur.
"We are looking for players who know the La Liga and we want to have two-to-three reinforcements from the outside. We have to wait until we get input from the new coach.
"We know what kind of coach we would like, and the faster we get him in place, the better."
