Betis hope to take Medran on-loan next season, having made an attempt for the youngster in January.
Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti kept hold of Medran this season over fitness doubts for Luka Modric.
But the Castilla star is expected to be available for the summer market and Betis hope to be first in queue.
