Real Betis sports chief Ramon Alcarcon insists coach Manuel Pellegrini retains their full support.

Pellegrini has been under pressure after a poor run of recent games.

Alcarcon told Cadena SER: "We believe it is a debate more at the level of the fans, even more so after four defeats, which is the first time this has happened since Manuel has been here.

"The debates all have their reasons for existing, the fans today are more visceral. In journalism it also helps to write that the coach is at the end of his cycle, remembering what the statistics are.

"But in the club there is no debate, it is zero. We believe we have a great team and a great coach, the most capable of achieving that what we want, which is to fight to compete in the European cups next season."
