Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino risks missing out on Roma striker Tonny Sanabria.

The young Paraguay international is a major summer target for Pochettino - and the pair have spoken over the phone.

However, Spurs have been unable to find a deal with Roma over a fee for Sanabria, the player is now considering other options.

Paraguay's Sport says Sanabria is now in talks with Real Betis, which are willing to table a firm bid to buy him outright from Roma.

Sanabria spent last season on-loan in Spain with Sporting Gijon, where he scored 11 goals in 30 games.
