Real Betis are launching a bid for Arsenal striker Lucas Perez.

Perez has been in talks with Deportivo La Coruna about a return to the Riazor, though a fee with Arsenal is still to be agreed.

Estadio Deportivo says Betis have now made contact with the Gunners for the striker.

Betis are in the market for a new striker signing and have the spending power to outbid Depor for Lucas before next week's transfer deadline.

Arsenal are seeking £15m to sell Lucas.
