Real Betis fullback Alex Moreno has no regrets turning down Nottingham Forest.

Moreno was close to signing for Forest before deciding to remain in Seville.

He told Radio Marca: "I decided to stay for the project.

"Nottingham would have been interesting as a step in my career, but here I have the affection of the fans, something special is being created and I have an important role in the team.

"I feel very comfortable, very much, and I want to continue growing at Betis, after having already spent four years there."
