Reading striker Kevin Doyle wants to join Sunderland.
The Sunday Sun says Doyle is ready to snub Wolves and Bolton for Sunderland.
Wolves seemingly moved into pole position for Doyle by making the £6.5 million bid needed to trigger an escape clause in his contract.
Bolton are understood to have matched that offer, while Fulham are also on the trail of the 25-year-old Republic of Ireland international.
But Doyle, having been made aware of Sunderland's interest, has told friends he wants a move to the Stadium of Light.
