Reading hero Andy Griffin admits he is an Everton reject.
The former Newcastle United fullback has confessed he's a huge Everton fan.
And he revealed to evertonfc.com: "I actually had a trial game at Everton and I think I would have only been 13.
"The likes of Michael Branch and Richard Dunne were there but obviously nothing went further so that was the closest I ever came to playing in an Everton shirt.
"But I can't complain about how things have turned out for me."
