PremiershipBurnley's weary away form continued in the FA Cup against ChampionshipReading as the Clarets went down 2-0 at the Madejski Stadium. Reading saw off Liverpool in the last round and after a dire first half scored a late winner to send another Premiership outfit crashing out of the cup.

The Royals deserved their win as they were the better team but needed the help of keeper Adam Federici with a couple of smart stops from Kevin McDonald and David Edgar to keep them in the game.

The winning strike arrived three minutes from time when Gylfi Sigurdsson met Andy Griffin's cross to seal another notable cup win.
