Reading come from behind twice to knock out West Brom

Championship strugglers Reading have completed a remarkable comeback to knock their same-division rivals West Brom out of the FA Cup.

The Royals eventually overhauled the Baggies 3-2 at The Hawthorns in a dramatic finish that saw them reach the final eight of the competition for the first time since 1927.

Robert Koren grabbed an early goal for West Brom before Jimmy Kebe equalised inside the ten-minute mark and when the visitors hadn't levelled after Koren added a second two minutes after the break, it seemed as though West Brom would tee up a meeting with Aston Villa in the quarters.

But Roberto Di Matteo's charges struck back in the third minute of stoppage time through Brian Howard, silencing the Baggies fans before an even more dramatic ending that saw Iceland U21 international Gylfi Sigurdsson send his side through with a brilliant curling effort from 25 yards, devastating West Brom.
