Reading boss Steve Coppell has assured fans he is as excited as anyone during games - despite his calm exterior.

"I always try and stay a constant, so if we win I don't get carried away and if we lose I don't unload on the players," said Coppell. "The legs are working very hard under the water but I try to stay consistent.

"We have a lot of points to catch up but psychologically I hope this win has a big long-term effect. I would have accepted a team sheet and a point but to get all three is a massive boost."
