Reading boss Steve Coppell is chasing Fulham fullback Liam Rosenior.

The Sun says Coppell is planning a bid of around £2million for the England Under-21 right-back and it is believed Fulham chief Lawrie Sanchez will allow him to leave after signing Chris Baird and Aaron Hughes.

Rosenior, 22, has played regularly at right-back but Coppell also sees him as an option on the right of midfield.
