Reading are chasing Tottenham midfielder Tom Huddlestone.

The Mail on Sunday says Reading want to sign Tottenham's Huddlestone on loan as they look to break the tradition by escaping relegation after being bottom at Christmas.

Spurs manager Andre Villas-Boas will let Huddlestone leave in January, with Fulham's former Spurs boss Martin Jol also a Huddlestone fan.
