RB Leipzig are looking at re-signing Timo Werner from Chelsea.
The German joined Chelsea from Leipzig in the summer of 2020 in a £53m deal in 2020.
Werner had been offered to Juventus in talks for Matthijs De Ligt, who has instead joined Bayern Munich.
He has struggled to cement a place in Thomas Tuchel's starting XI during his two seasons at Stamford Bridge.
Tuchel responded recently hit back at Werner after he spoke publicly about being open to leaving Stamford Bridge.
Leipzig have made 'tentative' contact about re-signing Werner, per the Daily Mail.
For now however it is likely Werner will spend another year at Chelsea until 2023, when he will have two years remaining on his deal.
