RB Leipzig are demanding Manchester City go higher to land Josko Gvardiol.
City have agreed personal terms with the Croatia defender and are willing to go to €90m to sign him.
But Leipzig are insisting on a sale of €100m this summer.
Gvardiol's contract carries a €110m buyout clause, though that doesn't come into effect until the summer of 2024, says BBC Sport.
Should City meet Leipzig's demands, it would make Gvardiol the biggest defensive transfer ahead of Manchester United captain Harry Maguire.
