RB Leipzig chief Max Eberl has paid tribute to Christopher Nkunku after he completed his move to Chelsea.
Nkunku's move was confirmed this morning.
The France striker originally joined RBL in 2019 from PSG.
"Christopher Nkunku came to Leipzig in 2019 as a promising talent. In his four years at RB Leipzig, he has undergone continuous and great development and has become a world-class player," said Eberl.
"In the last two seasons alone, he has shown his qualities, and that has lifted our game to a new level.
"As a club, we are very proud that a player at RB Leipzig has developed so excellently that he is now in another top league and one who will move to a top English club.
"We wish Christopher every success in London and further down the road. He will always be closely associated with RB Leipzig solely through his special achievements and successes."
