Rayo Vallecano coach Francisco had a dig at Celta Vigo rival Rafa Benitez after last night's 0-0 draw.

Francisco expected a greater attacking threat from the visitors.

He said: "More than negativity for not winning at home, it is that we are creating chances for some players to score. And this can give us a little more individual anxiety about wanting to score a goal for the team's victory.

"We are screwed because we wanted to overcome the 20-point barrier, but shooting 17 times on goal, putting in 35 crosses, taking the initiative, creating chances... Well, I think the team deserved more. We're upset about not winning, but we'll keep trying to make it to Pamplona.

"Logically, it is what worries us the most. We have players very qualified for this and what worries me the most would be not having scoring opportunities, approaches and not going for them from the beginning. The team has soul, it knows what we have to do with and without the ball, but it is true that Isi, Raúl and Álvaro, who have had fantastic seasons at other times, may not be right.

"Possibly we would have more points if we were more accurate, but the table says that we have 20 points and that cannot cause us anxiety. If these players reach their level, we can be optimistic for the future."

On Celta's approach, Francisco added: "It surprised us. We had prepared the game with a different idea because we knew that a team that was very needy would be up against us and we thought they could be a little braver. That's how we had worked on it. It is true that time was lost from the first minute, I think it was the game with the least effective time of the season.

"We have taken shots 17 times, taken eight corner kicks and it has been shown which team wanted to win. I understand that they will leave satisfied, but we leave screwed."
