Raúl Jiménez is excited about his move to Atletico Madrid.
The Mexico striker has signed for Atletico from Club America.
"Firstly I'd like to thank president Cerezo for his welcome and the team, which has helped me in every respect and made everything much easier. You can see here how strong the team is and the good work ethic. I am adapting to the team and the city very well," said Jimenez.
The striker made his debut against Rayo Vallecano this week.
"I was very happy to make my Liga debut. It's important to get started on new challenges. We played well in the first half but in the second maybe you could see the tiredness from the Supercopa, but I think the team showed we are ready to defend the title."
