Rashford to benefit as Man Utd draw up £300,000-a-week Kane package

Manchester United hope to tempt Harry Kane north with a contract offer worth £300,000-a-week.

United have placed the Tottenham striker at the top of their shopping list.

The Sun says United have now launched plans to ferry Kane away from Spurs this summer.

Along with handing Kane a £300,000-a-week deal, United will also upgrade Marcus Rashford's contract to match that.

It's suggested room on payroll will be created by goalkeeper David De Gea accepting a massive pay-cut from his current £375,000-a-week sum to a new offer of £200,000-a-week.

Kane's deal at Spurs runs to June 2024, so leaving the current summer market as the best time for Spurs to sell.
