Ranieri not placing emphasis on Leicester clinching title at Man Utd

Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri has stated that he will not be demanding his team to seal the Premier League title against Manchester United at Old Trafford this weekend.

Following Tottenham Hotspur's 1-1 draw against West Bromwich Albion on Monday night, Leicester only need a single victory from their last three matches to seal a historic Premier League triumph.

Leicester can achieve the feat this weekend when they square off against United at the Theatre of Dreams but ahead of the game, Ranieri says that he is more concerned about the performance than earning the required three points.

Speaking at the London launch of the partnership between the Premier League and TAG Heuer, Ranieri said: "I tell to my players always that it's not important the result, it's important the performance.

"I want them to play as a team because football is a team job. It's a team game.

"Eleven players play together. It's not important the name of your opponent, it's important what you do during the match."
