Rangers won't accept ticket allocation for Dundee United clash

Rangers will not accept the ticket allocation for February's Scottish Cup meeting with Dundee United.

'Gers supporters feel that the Terrors worked against them when the club fell into liquidation in the summer, which subsequently saw the Ibrox outfit relegated to the Third Division, and the sore point has gotten so much that they do not want to attend the Tannadice fixture at all.

"Rangers Football Club will not be taking its allocation of tickets for the forthcoming Scottish Cup match against Dundee United at Tannadice," said chief executive Charles Green in a statement.

"This is a unanimous decision by the board, senior management and staff at Ibrox.

"Everyone at this club is dismayed at the actions of certain SPL clubs, which were actively engaged in trying to harm Rangers when we were in a perilous situation and we are acutely aware of their attitude to us."
